Tips on rejuvenating skin with Baking Soda


Our face is the first thing that a person notices, and we have to make an impression with it. Due to the pollution in the air, the maintenance of the skin on our face is a required procedure. If we let our skin on its own, it will get wrinkled and be covered in pimples just in days. So, we need to apply procedures that will reduce the impurities and make our face supple and glowing.

Baking soda works like magic on the skin as it scrubs the dead skins and cleanses the skin deep and well. Regular exfoliation helps in regrowth of the skin and the debris on the skin are removed. It also helps in removing blackheads and excess oil. Baking soda can be easily used in place of expensive facial exfoliators found in the market.

Ways to use baking soda on face:

Baking soda can be the step which can be useful after you have been out the whole day. It will help in cleaning off the excess oil and unclog the pores to help the skin breathe.
You can do this by first removing all the makeup from your skin and then making a paste of baking soda and lukewarm water and apply it on your face. Massage it on your face for a minute then rinse it off with running water.
Lemon is a great product which tightens your skin, and the Vitamin C provides the skin with a rejuvenated glow. Lemon is also a natural toner and can lighten dark spots with regular use. You can easily create an exfoliating face mask with 2 tablespoons baking soda, 1/4th Cup lemon juice and 2 tbsp. of granulated sugar.
The ingredient should be mixed thoroughly so that it has a thick consistency, apply the paste on your skin and leave it for 10 minutes, then massage the paste gently for 2-3 minutes and rinse it off. This can be used once a week to rejuvenate your skin.
As we have already mentioned that baking soda has the property of an exfoliator, it can be easily made into a scrub that can be used 2/3 times a week. The ingredients you will need are very simple, baking soda and a facial moisturizer.
You will need to make a thick paste of baking soda and water that you will apply as an exfoliator on your moist face. You will need to gently massage your skin for 2/3 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water. Dry your face with a towel and then apply a light facial moisturizer. A little bit of coconut oil can also be used as a moisturizer.
Baking soda is really good, and it can be used on the face as well as skin to help in making it clean and free of any pollutants. It should be used regularly to see the changes.
